Number Two " The Partisan " - Trench Knife - Station IX

On the onset of the First World War, a shortage of fighting knives forced soldiers to adopt a variety of cutting and stabbing tools such as bayonets, hunting knives and mostly regular butcher knives.

Most of these tools were modified to suit the brutal reality of the trenches.

The Partisan knife is a modern take on those knives carried by soldiers in the trenches of the Great War.
