Understand that a Sap (albeit designed as functional) is a historically inspired item. Leather needs to be cared for or it'll degrade. It will also become more flexible as it breaks in. Lead is heavy, but it will deform if it strikes something harder than itself. These are the natures of the materials and cant be escaped.
